Making Large Revenue From CFs, Lee Hyo-ri Expresses Gratitude, “An Interesting World I Appreciate”
On January 8th, Lee Hyo-ri posted a photo of her CF on a large electronic display with the caption, “My face is shining in the night sky again”, adding “The interesting world I appreciate”.
Earlier in 2012, Lee Hyo-ri resigned as “CF queen” by declaring that she wanted to stop filming advertisements.
However, the female singer expressed her intention to return to the advertising industry after 11 years in July last year. She shared, “I want to film CFs again. If you have any CF offer, please send it to Antenna Music”. As a result, various companies from different fields, such as telecommunication, travel, finance, etc. left comments under Lee Hyo-ri’s post making attempts to recruit her.
Later in September, Lee Hyo-ri appeared on Shin Dong-yeop’s YouTube content and confessed, “I want to make a lot of money to spend more on making music and donate more. I’ve been donating a lot, but the amounts of donations are definitely smaller than that of when I was still filming CFs. Fortunately, I received many CF offers, more than 100. I’m so thankful that many people still find me even though I tend to do things the way I want”.
People in the advertising industry estimated that Lee Hyo-ri might have earned at least 4.2 billion won within 5 months after she announced her advertising comeback.
Accordingly, Lee Hyo-ri’s annual modeling fee is reportedly the highest in the industry, at around 700 million won. Among the advertisements she signed, 6 brands have already started displaying Lee Hyo-ri’s ads, and it is estimated that the female singer earned more than 4.2 billion won from that.
Singer Jung Jae-hyung from the same company Antenna also mentioned Lee Hyo-ri’s modeling revenue, saying “Lee Hyo-ri’s revenue this year may be comparable to the revenue of Antenna in 20 years”.
Declaring that she would return some of the profits from her CFs to society, Lee Hyo-ri actually donated 300 million won to a single mom in October last year, giving warmth and spreading good influence.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyo-ri is currently the MC of KBS 2TV’s music program “The Seasons – Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet”.
