The global Netflix hit K-Pop Demon Hunters is bringing its creators and stars together in Korea for the first time. According to industry insiders on August 16, director Maggie Kang, the Korean-Canadian filmmaker behind the fantasy action animation, will meet Ahn Hyo-seop, who voiced Jin-woo, the leader of the boy group Saja Boys, during her visit to Seoul.

The meeting is set to take place on August 21, a day before Maggie Kang’s official press conference. The pair will film special Netflix content together, marking their first in-person interaction. Until now, they had only communicated via video calls, with Ahn Hyo-seop recording his lines separately in Korea.

On August 22, Maggie Kang will hold a press conference at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, where she is expected to share insights on the film’s global success and her thoughts on bringing Korean culture to an international audience.
