LOONA Yves expressed her feelings.
On Jan 14th, Yves sent a long message to fans through the paid communication service app “Fab”, saying, “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to communicate with you.“
Yves shared, “Every day was mentally painful, and I couldn’t sleep because I felt as if there was a truck on my chest. I didn’t want to make it obvious to Orbit (fanclub name). I’m sorry.“
She confessed, “I’m worried about what I can do now that I’m used to the despair I feel even when I open and close my eyes. I don’t know how long it’ll take or how much more it’ll hurt, but I’m going to do everything I can.“
She added, “What I can do, what I can catch from this feeling of standing on the edge of a cliff every day is Orbit’s shirttails, so I’m sorry again. Lastly, please trust us. I love you.“
Earlier, 9 LOONA members, excluding Vivi and Hyunjin, filed an injunction to terminate their exclusive contracts with Blockberry Creative shortly after Chuu was expelled.
On Jan 13th, the 1st Civil Division of the Seoul Northern District Court (Chief Judge Jeong Mun Seong) ruled that out of 9 LOONA members, 4 members (Heejin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry) won and 5 members (Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye, Gowon) lost.
In particular, Heejin, Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry, who won the case, had their contract with Blockberry Creative terminated on the same day. They were maintaining the same contract as Chuu’s previously known contract. However, Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye and Gowon remained with the agency. Because they changed some of the terms of the contract a year or two ago, the court did not consider it unfair enough to terminate the contract.
Hereby, the members who won the case will be able to freely engage in entertainment activities without restrictions from their agency as of this day. On the other hand, the members who lost the case must maintain their existing contracts with Blockberry Creative.
