Actor No Young Kook passed away
According to OSEN, No Young Kook passed away today (Sep 18th).
No Young Kook is currently meeting viewers by appearing as Kang Jin Beom in KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “Live Your Own Life” (directed by Kim Hyeong Il, written by Jo Jeong Seon, produced by Arc Media), so this sudden news of his death adds to the sadness.
Born in 1948, No Young Kook took his first steps into acting as a theater actor in 1967. He made his official debut in 1975 and had been active as an actor since then. He showed his various sides by appearing in the dramas “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won”, “Eyes of Dawn”, “Dawn of the Empire”, “Enchanting Neighbor”, “Only Love”, “God of War”, “Loving You a Thousand Times”, “The Scarlet Letter”, “The Great King, Sejong” and the movie “Bravo My Life”.
He worked as an MC for a documentary program as well as turned into a singer and released albums.
No Young Kook married actress Seo Kap Sook, who is 13 years younger than him, in 1988 and divorced in 1997. Afterwards, he remarried and started a new family in 2006.
