Actress Lim Ji Yeon talked about her mindset when acting, drawing admiration from the MCs and viewers.
Lim Ji Yeon guested on the first broadcast of SBS’s program “Disarmament”, which aired on August 22nd.
Revealing how she changed her walking style to play her character in “The Glory” and “Lies Hidden in My Garden”, Lim Ji Yeon impressed everyone with her extraordinary passion and dedication to acting.
Lim Ji Yeon made her debut through the movie “Obsessed”. She shared, “I wanted to challenge myself. I met the director and he said my image suited the genre. He cast me after looking at my eyes only”.
Regarding her realization after carrying out acting activities for a long time, Lim Ji Yeon said, “I didn’t know how to use my voice properly in the past. I used to hate my voice back then and wondered ‘Why does it sound so manly?’, but I love it now”. She added, “I also feel more responsible for my work”, revealing her changed attitude and mindset in acting.
When asked about how she approached her roles, Lim Ji Yeon shared, “I tell myself that I’m the only one who can do the role. I asked myself questions like ‘Is there anyone at my age who can play Park Yeon Jin?’.”
Lim Ji Yeon also expressed her plan to take a rest to take care of her health next year after wrapping up the remaining schedules this year.
