Lily-Rose Depp watched BLACKPINK live, described it as “the best time ever”

“The Idol” lead actress, Lily-Rose Depp, revealed that she attended and admired the live performance of BLACKPINK and Jennie.

On May 29th (local time), the US media outlet Entertainment Tonight released an interview with Lily-Rose Depp and BLACKPINK Jennie, who appeared together on the HBO drama “The Idol”.

“The Idol” is a series that explores the dark side of pop idols and the cultural industry, which features pop star The Weeknd as both the producer and a main cast member. Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, as well as singer Troye Sivan, and BLACKPINK Jennie, also appear.

In “The Idol”, Lily-Rose Depp assumes the role of pop star Jocelyn.

Since Jennie is literally a Kpop idol, Entertainment Tonight asked if she gave any advice to Lily-Rose Depp, whose role is tightly integrated with the “idol” image. At this, Jennie smiled and answered that they did have such a conversation a long time ago, but she didn’t know which tips that Lily-Rose ended up using.

Next, Lily-Rose Depp was asked if she has ever seen a BLACKPINK performance.

Regarding this, Lily-Rose Depp replied, “I actually got to see BLACKPINK and Jennie live, not that long ago. It was so much fun, I had the best time ever.”

On the other hand, Jennie, along with the cast of “The Idol”, recently attended various events such as the closing ceremony of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, press conferences, and photo calls.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Jennie appeared in episodes 1 and 2 of “The Idol” for about 5 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively. “The Idol”, on the other hand, will premiere on HBO in June of this year.
