Lee Yoo-mi Revealed Goal To Win Best Actress Award

Actress Lee Yoo-mi looked back on her 15th year of acting

Lee Yoo-mi appeared as a guest in the latest episode of JTBC’s “News Room,” which aired on the afternoon of November 18th.

In the program, the actress talked about her new work, JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Strong Woman Gang Nam-soon.” In this production, Lee Yoo-mi played Gang Nam-soon, a pure girl with superhuman power.

The actress once described “Gang Nam-soon” as a work that went beyond her limits. Lee Yoo-mi said, “I’ve been acting realistically, but suddenly I had to act as in a fantasy drama, so I was worried if I could do well. I was worried about the power of being super strong and being able to run fast and believing in myself. It was so easy to believe. I’m not alone, my mom and grandmother (in the drama) are all super-strong, so I did it while relying on them.”

Regarding her goal of winning the “Best Actress Award,” she said, “It didn’t matter to me to win the Best Actress Award of which awards. When I started my career as an actress, I thought that I would be able to do it for a long time if I had a goal. So I set that as a goal and kept working hard, and I became what I am now. I’m continuing to reach to that goal.”
