On the morning of November 2, South Korean media lit up with reports about Park Jae Won, the 10-year-old son of top actress Lee Yo Won, who captivated netizens after his photos spread across social media. The boy quickly became a hot topic thanks to his handsome features, bright demeanor, and confident presence.

What caught even more attention was that Park Jae Won appeared in the same frame with Lee Joon Hoo, the son of superstar couple Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung. It turns out the two boys are not only close friends but also teammates who share a deep passion for sports.

Back in April, during an appearance on the variety show Dolsing Fourmen, Lee Yo Won revealed this delightful connection: “Lee Joon Hoo and my son play basketball and ice hockey together. They have different roles — Joon Hoo is tall and plays center, while my son is average in height but very quick, so he plays defense. They’ve known each other since they were little and work really well together.”

Lee Yo Won also expressed how proud she is of her son’s athletic pursuits: “I’ve watched many basketball matches and still cherish those memories. Looking at my son now, he truly seems like a real basketball player. When I see the kids imitate adult players, I’m always impressed. They each have their own charm. I hope they continue playing joyfully and create lots of wonderful memories.”

Born in 1980, Lee Yo Won began her career at just 17 and rose to fame across Asia with leading roles in hit dramas such as Queen Seondeok, Surgeon Bong Dal-hee, 49 Days, and Fashion 70s. In the Korean entertainment world, she is famously dubbed the “ultimate ageless beauty” due to her remarkably youthful looks. Now 45, Lee Yo Won continues to radiate charm and freshness, easily rivaling women in their 20s.

The actress married businessman and former professional golfer Park Ji Won in 2003. The couple has three children together one son and two daughters.
