‘Lee Sun-kyun’s Alleged Drug Supplier’ Doctor Found To Have Been Booked For Storing Drugs 2 Years Ago
The dermatologist accused of providing drugs to Lee Sun-kyun was booked by the police on drug charges in the past
On November 9th, JTBC reported exclusive news on “Newsroom”, saying “Doctor A, who was accused of providing drugs to the entertainment establishment director in the recent drug suspicions, was booked by the police two years ago for storing marijuana.”
Earlier on the same day, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Division raided the Hospital of doctor A in Gangnam after booking him on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. They reportedly raided the hospital as well as A’s residence, vehicle, mobile phones, and medical records.
Later, they revealed the information that A was booked two years ago for storing marijuana. At that time, the police received a report that “A assaulted a woman” so they were dispatched to the scene and found marijuana and inhalers inside the officetel of his location. However, A stated that he had never smoked marijuana.
10 days after the incident, A closed the hospital he was operating at that time due to “deteriorated health condition”. Three months later, he reopened the hospital he is running now close to the old location, which only takes about 5 minutes walk.
The police are considering doing a cross-examination with entertainment establishment director B who claimed that she received drugs from A for free. In fact, A is also accused of providing drugs to Lee Sun-kyun and other people through B.
B was the first suspect in this case to be arrested. With a criminal record of 6 drug-related offenses, she continued to be charged with possession of drugs and violation of drug laws this time. She reportedly offered Lee Sun-kyun to take drugs at her residence. In the recent police summons, Lee Sun-kyun claimed, “B deceived me into taking drugs”.
