On January 22, a video titled “Lee Soo Hyuk and Hong Jin Kyung’s Model Energy Taking Over Cheongdam” was uploaded to Hong Jin Kyung’s YouTube channel. In it, Hong Jin Kyung brought up the ongoing comparison between Lee and G-Dragon, saying, “You know how they say friends start to look alike. There were so many clips circulating showing your walk and gestures on stage looking exactly like GD’s.”

Lee Soo Hyuk acknowledged the buzz, saying, “I’ve seen those videos. I watch all my own stuff. Normally, I wouldn’t care much, but after receiving so many emails from fans expressing their concern and sadness, I realized I needed to address it. I want to protect the people who support me. Action will definitely be taken against those malicious videos.”

He added humorously, “Even my mom called me and said, ‘Hey, walk properly, don’t chew gum, and stop blinking so much!’”

As for his relationship with G-Dragon, Lee shared, “You know how it is… when we’re in touch, we talk often, and when we’re not, we don’t. We’re not constantly chatting, but the connection is there.”

While playful comparisons with G-Dragon have circulated online, Lee Soo Hyuk’s response made it clear that he draws the line at malicious content and he’s ready to take steps to protect his image and fans.
