Lee Si Eon reveals his ‘special’ relationships with Won Bin and Hyun Bin for the first time

Actor Lee Si Eon told the memories he had with Won Bin and Hyun Bin in the past.

Lee Si Eon appeared in a content video on the Youtube channel of Kian84 released on February 10th. Kian84 said, “It’s your second time on this show”, and hosted an eating show.

In the video, Kian84 asked Lee Si Eon, “You know many superstars, right? Aren’t you close to Won Bin?”.

In response, Lee Si Eon said, “We’re not close but… I’ve never talked about this before. ‘Reply 1997’ was successful when I was about to renew the contract with my agency. I was very worried but Won Bin and the CEO came to the filming site of the movie ‘Tough As Iron’. Won Bin said, ‘Please help us this time’, and that’s why I’m able to come this far”, revealing the story of when Won Bin tried to hold onto him.

Hearing that, Kian84 said, “But Won Bin went somewhere else (to another agency)”. Lee Si Eon positively replied, “That’s right. I think that’s why he told me to stay”.

Kian84 then asked, “Aren’t you close to Hyun Bin, too?”, trying to change the topic. Lee Si Eon shared, “I haven’t met him for a long time. We became close after filming the drama ‘Friend, Our Legend’ together. I went to a funeral as the father of a senior passed away during the shoot, but forgot to bring money so I told Hyun Bin and Min Joon to go inside first. I was outside alone then Hyun Bin came out and gave me a money envelope”.

Lee Si Eon said, “He gave me the envelope and said, ‘Si Eon, I’ll lend you this. Pay me back after you succeed’. It was about 200,000 won. I haven’t met him again since then so I haven’t had any chance to pay back the money”, drawing laughter.
