Lee Seung Gi sent payment-related content certification to HOOK Entertainment, going through the procedure for contract termination

Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi reportedly sent a content certification to his agency HOOK Entertainment.

According to an official in the entertainment industry on November 18th, Lee Seung Gi’s side sent content certification to HOOK Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as ‘HOOK’) asking for the disclosing of payments.

The official said, “Lee Seung Gi’s side seems to have concluded that there was a problem with the payments for various activities so far”, adding “This is a request to disclose payment details and the problem with the company’s administration”.

In particular, Lee Seung Gi’s side is expected to take steps to terminate the actor’s contract with HOOK if the company cannot give a convincing answer to the content certification within a few days.

Lee Seung Gi has been with HOOK for 18 years since his debut. Therefore, fans are very surprised by his action this time. Many are wondering if Lee Seung Gi and HOOK can reach an agreement.

Earlier on November 10th, the National Police Agency’s Serious Crime Investigation Division raided HOOK office building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The seizure and search were reportedly conducted to confirm the embezzlement charges of some executives, including CEO Kwon.
