Lee Se-young: “Didn’t Want to Wear Hanbok, but It’s for Work, So I Had No Choice”

Lee Se-young shared her experience of wearing hanbok again

During the press conference of the new MBC drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” on November 22nd at MBC Headquarters, Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Lee Se-young was asked, “How do you feel about wearing hanbok again after ‘The Red Sleeves’?”

She replied, “I really didn’t want to wear hanbok. I dislike wearing hanbok in the summer; it doesn’t suit me. It’s comfortable to wear hanbok in winter. It was really tough shooting in hanbok for the summer scenes.”

She added, “So, my impression of wearing hanbok again is ‘I had no choice because it’s for work, but it surprisingly suits well.'”

‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ is a drama that transcends death and unfolds a contract marriage story between Park Yeon-woo, a 19th-century girl who arrived in Korea in 2023, and Kang Tae-ha, a 21st-century emotionless perfectionist. The first episode is scheduled for 9:50 PM KST on November 24th.
