On March 11, Lee Na Young met with reporters at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where she discussed the conclusion of the ENA series and her experience returning to television after three years. “Honour” is a mystery drama about three female lawyers who confront their past after a massive scandal resurfaces. The series is based on a Swedish drama of the same name. The show debuted with a 3.1% nationwide rating, the highest premiere rating for an ENA Monday–Tuesday drama, and ended on March 10 with its own record of 4.7% viewership nationwide.

In the drama, Lee Na Young played lawyer Yoon Ra Young, delivering an emotionally intense performance that resonated with viewers and marked a successful comeback to the small screen. Reflecting on the series finale, the actress expressed gratitude for the audience’s response. “I’m relieved that we finished safely. The genre can feel a bit heavy, but I’m grateful that more people responded to it than I expected,” she said.

Lee Na Young also revealed that her husband, actor Won Bin, watched the series. However, she avoided revealing any plot details to him while it was airing. “Won Bin watched it, but since I kept quiet about the story, he kept trying to guess what would happen next. He would say things like, ‘It’s like this, right?’ while watching my reactions. But I didn’t tell him anything until the end. I just thought, ‘It’s going well,’” she explained.

She added with a laugh that her family was not able to watch every episode live. Instead, she encouraged them to watch later through streaming. “We couldn’t watch every episode live. I felt embarrassed, so I told them to watch it later on Coupang Play,” she said.

When asked whether Won Bin gave her detailed feedback, Lee Na Young admitted that their conversations about the drama were lighthearted rather than analytical. “We’re not the type to go into detailed critiques. It was more like, ‘That went well,’ or ‘You did pretty well.’ He kept teasing me,” she said, adding that she tends to feel shy whenever she receives compliments.

Meanwhile, the couple’s 11-year-old son was unable to watch the drama because of its 15+ rating. Lee Na Young said her son was curious about her work but still does not fully understand her acting career. “He couldn’t watch it because it’s rated 15+. He wanted to see it, but I didn’t let him. He finds it fascinating, but he still doesn’t really understand acting. He only watches cartoons and keeps asking if everything is real,” she shared.

The actress added that she hopes he will watch the drama someday in the future. “I hope he can watch it later. It might be good for him to learn about society through stories like this,” she said.
