On August 29 (local time), actress Lee Min-jung captured global attention at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, appearing alongside her husband, actor Lee Byung-hun. Dressed in a stunning modernized hanbok, Lee Min-jung brought a touch of Korean elegance to one of the world’s most prestigious cinematic stages.
“Lee Min-jung was spotted walking hand in hand with Lee Byung-hun, greeting fans with grace and elegance,” shared an international fan account that posted exclusive photos of the couple at the event. The two appeared affectionate and poised, showcasing their strong bond amidst the global spotlight.

Lee Byung-hun was in Venice for the world premiere of No Other Choice (어쩔 수 없다), a film officially invited to the competition section of the festival. Lee Min-jung was seen entering the iconic Sala Grande theater, where the film premiered, wearing a beautifully tailored hanbok that blended tradition with modern flair — a look that proudly highlighted Korean heritage.

The premiere received a thunderous 9-minute standing ovation from the audience. Director Park Chan-wook, Lee Byung-hun, and the cast members accepted the applause with deep appreciation, holding hands and bowing to express their gratitude.
From her seat just behind her husband, Lee Min-jung clapped with visible pride. Also in attendance was Lee Mi-kyung, Vice Chairwoman of CJ ENM, who oversaw production of the film.

No Other Choice tells the story of Mansu (played by Lee Byung-hun), a content office worker whose life is turned upside down when he is suddenly laid off. Determined to protect his family and their home, Mansu embarks on a personal war to reclaim his dignity, offering a raw and emotional narrative.
The film is set to compete against high-profile entries such as Bugonia by Yorgos Lanthimos and Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro for the prestigious Golden Lion at the closing ceremony on September 6.
