Lovelyz’s Lee Mijoo surprised viewers by revealing alleged signs of her ex-boyfriend’s infidelity during her appearance on SBS’s variety show No, But Seriously! on February 16.

Joining hosts including Lee Sang-min and Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Mijoo candidly opened up about a painful past relationship. Lee Sang-min commented, “Mijoo was betrayed by her ex-boyfriend,” prompting her to clarify that the incident happened a long time ago.

“It was Christmas, and I couldn’t meet my boyfriend because I had work,” she began. “The next day, a friend called me asking, ‘You know that guy, right? Who is he?’ I said he was my boyfriend. Then my friend told me, ‘Your boyfriend called an older member from my group to meet on Christmas, and she still hasn’t gone home.’”

The shocking revelation left the studio stunned. Lee Mijoo explained that when she confronted her boyfriend, he firmly denied everything. However, based on the circumstances, she became convinced that he had cheated. “I thought this wasn’t right. He kept denying it, so I told him we should break up. I really didn’t want to break up, but I was so upset and angry that I ended it. It’s a really old story,” she said honestly.

On the same broadcast, she also shared another dramatic episode involving her close friend, singer Jo Hyun-ah. Lee Mijoo revealed that they once became entangled with the same man at the same time. Noticing Jo Hyun-ah’s happiness and interest in him, Lee Mijoo decided to step in. “Because I knew the truth. She was talking happily about him, and I said, ‘Sis, no.’ I told her everything,” she recalled.

She continued bluntly, “Actually, he liked me too. While telling her he liked her, he was crying and begging me to date him. He’s really trash,” she said without holding back.

Meanwhile, Lee Mijoo had previously gone public with her relationship with soccer player Song Bum-keun in April 2024. However, news of their breakup surfaced nine months later in January 2025, leaving fans disappointed.
