Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Seol-hyun and Jin Hee-kyung to appear on tvN’s “The Murderer’s Shopping List”
Actors Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Seol-hyun, and Jin Hee-kyung have finally confirmed their appearance in tvN’s new drama “The Murderer’s Shopping List”.
The 2022 new tvN drama “The Murderer’s Shopping List” (directed by Lee Eon-hee, scripted by Han Ji-wan, planned by Studio Dragon, and produced by Beyond J) said on Nov 26th, “We have cast three actors Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Seol-hyun and Jin Hee-kyung as our main characters.”
tvN’s “The Murderer’s Shopping List” is a neighborhood-based comic investigate drama started by mother-run MS Mart intern Dae-sung (Lee Kwang-soo), district police officer Do Ah-hee (Kim Seol-hyun), and Dae-sung’s mother Jung Myung-sook (Jin Hee-kyung) based on mart receipts after a questioning dead body was discovered in an apartment near them. Director Lee Eon-hee, who directed the films “The Accidental Detective 2: In Action” and “Missing”, and writer Han Ji-wan, who wrote the dramas “Wanted” and “Today’s Detective,” teamed up to delicately mix comedy with brutal murder cases. On top of that, Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Seol-hyun, and Jin Hee-kyung, who have outstanding personalities and solid acting skills, are expected to work together and create their own synergy.
Lee Kwang-soo played the role of Ahn Dae-sung, the son of the president of MS Mart, who was a memorization genius in the past but has been failing the level 9 civil service exam for three years now. Dae-sung had the ability to observe only the world’s most useless details, a cumbersome memory that occupies all his brain capacity, and the timidness so serious that he can’t even run away from fire. Starting with the incident he experienced at MS Mart when I was 10, his life begins to get twisted. As Lee Kwang-soo is loved by the public for his addictive acting that adds his unique pleasant charm into his works such as dramas “Live” and “The Sound of the Heart,” along with the movies “Sinkhole” and “The Accidental Detective 2: In Action,” the viewer’s highly expecting his passionate acting for the new drama.
Kim Seol-hyun will play Dae-sung’s girlfriend Do Ah-hee, a passionate police officer from Odong District who only had eyes for him from a very young age. Then, when a mysterious murder occurs near the apartment, she steps up to find the culprit herself. Viewers are raising expectations for Kim Seol-hyun, who has been recognized for her stable acting skills in “My Country: The New Age” and “Awaken”, to transform into a passionate police officer who cannot stand injustice.
Jin Hee-kyung will take on the role of Jung Myung-sook, MS Mart’s owner and Dae-sung’s mother. Myung-sook loves her incompetent yet handsome husband as well as her foolish but humane son. In particular, she is a fearless person who grew a small neighborhood mart into a lavish two-story building and an all-inclusive supermarket. The public is paying attention to the charisma of Jin Hee-kyung, who fascinated the small screen with her life-friendly acting in “Was It Love?” and “Accidental Family”, as MS Mart’s owner.
