Lee Kwang-soo: “I want to grow old like Ji Suk-jin”

The fact that Lee Kwang-soo expressed extraordinary respect towards Ji Suk-jin, whom he had been bickering with while working together on “Running Man”, impressed the public unexpectedly.

The Oppa of Tteokbokki House

On Feb 15th, MBC Every1’s “The Oppa of Tteokbokki House” depicted the re-business period of Ji Suk-jin, Kim Jong-min and Lee Yi-kyung.

On this day, Lee Dong-hwi appeared as Ji Suk-jin‘s kkanbu (very close friend).

Lee Dong-hwi recalled his first meeting with Ji Suk-jin, “When I met the celebrity I had seen on TV right in front of me, I felt like I saw a star. He got a halo in back of him. He only said ‘Okay. Nice to meet you’, but it was more amazing to me than meeting any other senior.”

However, the age difference between the two is 19 years, so there could be a generation gap. To the question of whether there is any generational difference, Ji Suk-jin answered without hesitation, “We don’t talk about the past. I don’t feel the generational difference actually.”

Lee Dong-hwi then revealed an unexpected story. Lee Kwang-soo once said, “If I get old, I want to grow old like Suk-jin.”

Lee Dong-hwi told Ji Suk-jin, “(Kwang-soo) said that he respected you deeply. I also want to grow old like you.”

Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo and Ji Suk-jin have been friends since 2010 after appearing together on “Running Man“.
