Lee Kwang-soo Explains His Absence from “Unexpected Business” with Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung, Talks New Show “GBRB”

Lee Kwang-soo answered why he didn’t join “Unexpected Business” with Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung

The prese conference for the new variety show “GBRB: Reap What You Sow” was held on October 11th in Seoul. The event was attended by PD Na Young-seok, PD Ha Moo-seong, Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Do Kyung-soo (EXO’s D.O.), and Kim Ki-bang.

When asked why he didn’t join the variety show “Unexpected Business” with his close friends Jo In-sung and Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Kwang-soo explained, “Tae-hyun hyung, In-sung hyung, and I are very close and I like them a lot. But on ‘Unexpected Business,’ there was a bit of tension. It was comfortable, but anyway, if I said I didn’t have to mind the hyungs’ feelings, it would be a lie.”

He added, “On ‘GBRB: Reap What You Sow,’ we filmed freely and comfortably, feeling like we were just on a trip.”

Kim Woo-bin added, “I didn’t feel any of that around Tae-hyun hyung and In-sung hyung. I’m really surprised to hear Kwang-soo hyung’s thoughts here.”

Lee Kwang-soo then quickly said, “I felt the same way. It was a bit of a pleasant tension,” making everyone laugh.

Do Kyung-soo also commented, “It was very comfortable. It felt like we were having fun conversations in private, just as we always do.

Kim Ki-bang said, “We meet each other often, and since we were farming, there were some fun episodes. Going to farm together every time and feeling excited about it was enjoyable. I think I laughed the most.

“GBRB: Reap What You Sow” is a delightful documentary-style program that explores the fun and interesting moments that occur when close friends work together on a small plot of land. It will premiere on October 13th at 8:40 PM KST.
