The court recognized the accused’s defamation charges, “The accused was discontented with the victim (Lee Jun Ho) and posted untrue content on online communities several times. Hereby, the accused defamed the victim by publicly stating false facts through the information network for the purpose of slandering the victim.”

JYP Entertainment, which announced the result of the legal action against the malicious commenter targeting Lee Jun Ho, said, “We are taking stronger measures by strengthening the monitoring route and selecting additional law firms. In the future, we will continue to take strong measures without leniency, not looking on the spread of groundless false information and malicious posts about our artists idly. We would like to thank the fans who always support and love our artists. As an agency, we promise to prioritize the protection of artists’ rights and interests, and to respond strongly to acts that hinder this.”
