Lee Jun-ho and Lee Se-young to reportedly appear on The Red Sleeve’s spin-off variety show
The hot drama “The Red Sleeve” will meet viewers again as a New Year’s variety show.
According to SPOTV News on Jan 15th, MBC’s “The Red Sleeve” (writer Jung Hae-ri/director Jung Ji-in, Song Yeon-hwa) is preparing for a special spin-off entertainment show for the Lunar New Year holiday.
In addition to Lee Jun-ho (as Lee San, Jeongjo) and Lee Se-young (Seong Deok-im, Uibin), other actors will also participate in this spin-off show, which is expected to confirm their charms more closely.
“The Red Sleeve” tells the record of a royal court romance between the King of Joseon who believes his duty is to his country first above love, and a court lady who wants to protect the life she has chosen.
In particular, “The Red Sleeve” is a drama where Lee Jun-ho and Lee Se-young’s passionate acting, solid script and beautiful directing blended perfectly. According to Nielsen Korea on Jan 1st, it recorded a nationwide rating of 17.4% and ended successfully with its own highest rating.
The special variety show is scheduled to air during the Lunar New Year holiday.
