Actors Lee Jun-ho and Kim Tae-ri topped the popularity votes for the Baeksang Arts Awards in the actor and actress categories, respectively.
Tthe voting for the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards’ TikTok Popularity Award ended at 6 p.m on April 29th. According to the result, Lee Jun-ho achieved 1 million votes, ranking 1st place among actors. In the actress category, Kim Tae-ri topped the list with 750,000 votes.
Following Lee Jun-ho (1,016,922 votes), SHINee’s Key came in 2nd place with 359,791 votes and Jung Hae-in ranked 3rd place with 142,240 votes.
As for the women’s category, the No.1 Kim Tae-ri (758,343 votes) was followed by No.2 Lee Se-young (669,262 votes) and No.3 Im Yoon-ah (82,560 votes).
The popularity vote for Baeksang was held for 58 nominees in both the TV and film sectors. It continued for 8 days starting from April 22nd. Until last year, the popularity votes for actors and actresses were held separately. However, Baeksang changed its voting method to make one integrated vote only this year.
In particular, Lee Jun-ho and Kim Tae-ri topped the popularity vote from the first day and maintained their leading spots until the last day. Each actor and actress who won the most votes will receive a trophy on the stage when the award ceremony is held.
In addition, Lee Jun-ho and Kim Tae-ri were also nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress in the TV series category and are also expected to win.

Meanwhile, the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan on May 6th and will be broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4 at 7:45 p.m. The three MCs for this year’s ceremony have been confirmed to be Shin Dong-yeop, Suzy and Park Bo-gum.
