SBS’s “Again My Life” opened with a hot prelude by prosecutor Lee Joon-gi, who returned to 15 years ago right from the first episode, launching revenge for absolute evil based on his past youth and future experiences.
In episode 1 of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Again My Life” (directed by Han Chul-soo, Kim Yong-min / written by J, Kim Yul / adapted by Lee Byeong-heon / produced by Samhwa Networks, Kross Pictures), which was broadcast on April 8th, Kim Hee-woo (Lee Joon-gi), a passionate prosecutor who even penetrated death, drew keen attention for his second life as he returned to 15 years ago. “Again My Life” took first place among Friday-Saturday dramas with a rating of 6.0% in the metropolitan area and 5.8% nationwide, marking a good start from the first broadcast. This day’s broadcast opened with Kim Hee-woo’s efforts in fighting corruption. With the belief that “the prosecution’s mission is to eradicate corruption”, he was a prosecutor without compromise in front of law and justice as well as a problematic child in the prosecution office who had nothing to fear.
Kim Hee-woo’s goal is Jo Tae-seob (Lee Geung-young), who shakes the world with his desire for power. In particular, he used the president’s weak point to make him his own puppet.
After that, Kim Hee-woo summoned Jo Tae-seob as a suspect, and the two met for the first time. However, Jo Tae-seob, who held the shield of desire against Kim Hee-woo’s spirit, was not to be easily beaten. Jo Tae-seob reversed the situation and said, “You don’t get justice because you’re willing to accept it. It’s not you; it’s the people. You should have breached the system that was established for me and entered to bring me down.”
In the end, Kim Hee-woo was killed by Dr. K (Hyun Woo-sung), Jo Tae-seob’s action-taker, after all the cards were exposed to Jo Tae-seob. However, the Grim Reaper (played by Cha Joo-young) appeared in front of Kim Hee-woo. She suggested, “Would you use one more life to catch Jo Tae-seop if there is one more life left?” Kim Hee-woo promised, “I’ll show you that there is hell in this life.” Then he returned to 15 years ago, making viewers look forward to his future performance.
Kim Hee-woo lived his second life as a preparatory student for the bar exam. In particular, he got a chance to meet his late parents (Park Cheol-min and Kim Hee-jeong) again as soon as he returned to his home. Above all, Kim Hee-woo started to change the future by looking for ways to save the two when the fateful day came as his parents were involved in a hit-and-run accident.
However, at the end of the broadcast, despite Kim Hee-woo’s efforts, the accident car hit his parents again, raising questions about whether he would be able to save his parents in his second life.
On the other hand, SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Again My Life” is about a young prosecutor who gets killed while trying to take down a powerful crime boss, but is given a chance to start a new life for justice. Episode 2 will air at 10 PM on April 9th.
