“Money Heist: Korea” Lee Joo-bin reportedly cast in new drama starring Park Min-young and Go Kyung-pyo

On July 7th, Xports News announced that Lee Joo-bin has confirmed her appearance in tvN’s new drama “MonWedFriTuesThursSat”.

In this regard, Lee Joo-bin’s agency said, “It’s one of the works that have been proposed and are being reviewed.” It was not revealed which role she was cast for.

The romantic comedy drama “MonWedFriTuesThursSat” portrays Choi Sang-eun (Park Min-young) as she gets entangled with Jung Ji-ho (Go Kyung-pyo), who is on a long-term exclusive contract for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Kang Hae-jin (Kim Jae-young), who signs a new contract for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 

This work is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2022. Its director Nam Sung-woo, who helmed “My Roommate Is a Gumiho”, “Kkondae Intern” and “Kill It”, is expected to show sensual and brilliant directing skills.

Attention is focused on whether Lee Joo-bin will confirm her appearance and be able to succeed in acting transformation once again.

Meanwhile, Lee Joo-bin, who made her debut with SBS’ drama “Whisper” in 2017, later made her face and name known by appearing in a number of big works such as “Mr. Sunshine” and “Be Melodramatic”.

Recently, she is getting more and more popular through Netflix’s original series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area“.
