Actor Lee Jong Suk mentioned his lover IU (Lee Ji Eun) in a recent interview.
Lee Jong Suk decorated the cover of Esquire’s March issue. He also conducted an interview during the pictorial shoot and shared various stories.
Referring to his girlfriend IU, Lee Jong Suk said, “You may think it’s a cliché if I say that her existence itself has become my source of will and strength. Many people around me are also comforted by her music, lyrics, and sympathetic words. So do I”
He continued, “However, the only difference is that I receive comfort while talking with her. Above all, we’ve been friends for a long time, and I think that friend is the funniest person in the world. I was comforted. She comforted me throughout the time when I was having so many worries after turning 30.”
The actor confessed, “We’ve been friends since we were in our mid-20s, so we met each other very early. When she told me, ‘You’ve become so mature’, I wanted to grow more and be more mature. I want to be a better person than I am now.”
