Lee Hyori, who deleted Instagram after being asked for money, has opened it again?

An Instagram account suspected to belong to Lee Hyori was recently opened, drawing attention ahead of “The Dancing Wanderers” performance.

On the 13th, an Instagram account called “lee_hyolee” was created. The profile picture only shows an enlarged mouth, and the introduction contains only the two letters “self”. As of 3:30 pm (KST) on April 13th, the account has attracted about 800 followers, but no posts have been uploaded.

However, speculations that the account belongs to Lee Hyori have poured in, seeing various stars such as Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Sang Soon, and Kim Wan-sun have followed the account one after another.

Starting with the Jinhae Gunhang Military Music Festival on the 2nd, it is suspected that Lee Hyori has created an SNS account to communicate with fans ahead of the performance of “The Dancing Wanderers” in Gwangyang on April 16th.

On the other hand, “The Dancing Wanderers” is a program that features the best female dance artists in Korea, who tour the country to meet fans and enjoy concerts together. Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, BoA, and Hwasa, are confirmed to appear.

In 2020, Lee Hyori deleted her Instagram account, and even revealed this process of deletion in the Kakao TV observational entertainment content “Face ID”. At the time, the singer explained, “Among various reasons, I was looking at my phone for 1-2 hours a day as a habit. I was sitting and using Instagram, and my cat was looking at me. Looking at her, I suddenly felt sorry because I thought, ‘Since did she start looking at me like that?'”, adding, “I had a lot of these experiences. These are cases where I only use my cell phone rather than talking to my husband (singer Lee Sang Soon).”

Lee Hyori also mentioned that she received all kinds of requests sent via her Direct Message, with most of them asking her for money. According to the singer, she can accept malicious comments, but other reasons caused her to delete Instagram.
