Singer Lee Hyo Ri surprised everyone when she revealed that she used to dream of marrying Kim Gun Mo.
The June 1st broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “Dancing Queens on the Road” showed the journey of Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, and Hwasa to the Baekmi Military Music Festival at Jinhae Gunhang Festival.
That day, the members talked about the theme of their next performances, which is “switching songs”. When asked about the new arrangement, BoA, who chose Uhm Jung Hwa’s “Invitation”, said, “It’s quite similar to the original song”. She continued, “I selected that song and Jung Hwa unnie keeps mentioning Park Jin Young”.
Showing her respect for Park Jin Young, the composer of “Invitation”, BoA said, “Jin Young oppa wrote such a good song”.
The members then introduced their own healing songs. Lee Hyo Ri revealed that she usually listens to Lee Soo Young’s songs, saying “Dance singers often find healing in ballad songs released during their active years”.
Lee Hyo Ri asked BoA, “What song did you usually listen to during your promotions?”. In response, BoA said, “To me, that’s ‘It must have been love’ by Yoon Do Hyun”. Uhm Jung Hwa shared, “When I was in middle school, I really liked Lee Moon Se’s songs, so I used to wish that I could marry him.”
Hearing that, Lee Hyo Ri agreed, “I felt the same thing”, and confessed, “I once dreamed of marrying Kim Gun Mo…”. Hwasa wondered, “Kim Heung Guk sunbaenim?”, drawing laughter.
Lee Hyo Ri teased Hwasa by asking Hong Hyun Hee, “What should we do with the ranks in our team?”. Hong Hyun Hee replied, “Articles titled ‘Lee Hyo Ri, Kim Heung Guk is her ideal type?’ will be published tomorrow, right?”, making everyone burst into laughter.
