Lee Hyo-ri & Kim Go-eun Confidently Declare, “Let’s Work As Much As We Get Paid”

Singer Lee Hyo-ri and actress Kim Go-eun drew viewers’ attention with their honest thoughts on appearance fees

Kim Go-eun guested on the February 16th broadcast of KBS2’s “Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet”. On the show, the actress said, “We met at a bar a few days ago. Thank you for saying you like me”.

Kim Go-eun then shared, “Music is like poems. I often gain strength every time I listen to a song that is 3-4 minutes. That’s why I always put the OST songs in my playlist and listen to them when I work on a drama”. In fact, the actress had a duet with Shin Seung-hoon for the song “Sun, Moon, Star and Us” and also participated in the OST of the movie “Canola” and the drama “Cheese in the Trap”. Kim Go-eun wanted to record the feelings when she felt for music so she wrote the lyrics about those moments.

Kim Go-eun also showed off her loveliness by dancing to NewJeans’s “Hype Boy” with Lee Hyo-ri.

In addition, what drew viewers’ attention was her remarks about appearance fees. Previously appearing in Jung Jae-hyung’s content, Kim Go-eun made headlines when she said, “Getting paid as an actor gives me a sense of responsibility. We often joke around like ‘We should work as much as we receive’, but it’s true.”

Lee Hyo-ri commented, “I really like it when you said that”. Kim Go-eun added, “Since I’m close with the filming staff, we often start off by cheerfully saying ‘Let’s work as much as we get paid’, on the day of difficult shoots.” Lee Hyo-ri agreed, saying, “I think I should also say it when I want to raise the mood during CF shoots. I think other people will like it.”
