Singer Lee Hyo-ri showed her extraordinary love for junior idols
On November 9th, a video titled “Lee Hyo-ri, a real strong sister who came to discipline Tak Jae-hoon” was released on Tak Jae-hoon’s YouTube channel “nobacktak.”
In the video, regarding her recent comeback, Lee Hyo-ri said, “The time that I would be nervous has passed.” When referring to BLACKPINK’s Jennie, IVE, and LE SSERAFIM, who also made a comeback in October, Lee Hyo-ri joked, “Are they popular idols these days?”
The singer also shared, “When I’m stressed, I try to relax by watching pretty girl group members on Instagram. These days, I find girls like Jennie and New Jeans pretty. I send a lot of DMs to my juniors, saying “I love your music so much” and “Let’s work together sometime.” I’m sending really sincere supportive text messages or sending those to the idols who want to work with me.”
Host Tak Jae-hoon asked, “Have you ever sent DMs to Jennie, LE SSERAFIM, Seventeen, IVE, and Sunmi?” and Lee Hyo-ri said, “For those who are already too popular, I have a little feeling that I will be ignored,” adding, “My company told me to come to Youngji and Cho Hyun-ah’s YouTube shows, but I didn’t because I thought I would feel intimidated there.”
Regarding her husband, Tak Jae-hoon asked, “Do you have a fight with your husband? “My husband is so nice,” Lee Hyo-ri replied, referring to Lee Sang-soon. Lee Hyo-ri said, “I think it’s been more than five years since we last had a fight,” adding, “I have a habit of not talking when I fight. So my husband is the only one who talks on KakaoTalk.”
Finally, Tak Jae-hoon asked Lee Hyo-ri to rate Yoo Jae-seok, Shin Dong-yup, Tak Jae-hoon for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Lee answered that they couldn’t be compared, adding, “If Yoo Jae-seok and Shin Dong-yeop are like national MCs, Tak Jae-hoon is like a national uncle.”
