Lee Dong-wook’s pictures from his childhood revealed on “Yoo Quiz on the Block”, proving that he was born to be a celebrity

Lee Dong-wook’s childhood photos have been revealed.

The 136th episode of cable channel tvN’s “Yoo Quiz on the Block” aired on December 22nd was a Christmas special called “Christmas Gift”.

On this day, Lee Dong-wook talked about his friendship with Jo Se-ho. After revealing that they are planning to spend this Christmas Eve together with Nam Chang-hee, the two said, “In fact, we’ve been celebrating the event like this for 5-6 years. We often get together and do nothing. We just have dinner and some drink.”

Lee Dong-wook burst into laughter with a shy expression when Yoo Jae-suk said, “I heard you were told to become a celebrity since you were young”. The actor said, “When I was in elementary school, the vice-president told me that a lot. He said he would make Dongwook a celebrity. When I went to high school, it was a boys’ high school. But during festivals, girls from nearby schools could also participate. At that time, I was modeling for a magazine, so people came to see me.”

Lee Dong-wook then confessed about his acting career and slump. He said, “I have been an actor for 23 years, and acting has never been easy to me”, adding, “I encountered a slump after ‘Goblin’. I couldn’t move forward. I felt like my hands and and feet were tied up. I also had a feeling that I was a person who had more failures than successes. ‘Why am I one step behind?’, those thoughts kept on bothering me.”

He continued, “After staying home for a few months, I realized that nothing would be solved if I just stayed still like that. While trying to face the reality with my bare body, I met drama ‘Stranger From Hell’”, adding, “Since then, acting has become more comfortable than before”.

Lee Dong-wook also revealed his deep thoughts, saying, “I think it is sincerity that makes one’s self shine”, adding, “Opportunities always come in everyone’s life, and how sincere they are will determine how possible they can seize them.”

Then, touched by Lee Dong-wook’s confession, Yoo Jae-suk said, “What I feel about Lee Dong-wook is that he is very sincere. I know that when I do programs with you. Thank you so much for coming and confessing everything.”
