Lee Dong Wook Stuns in “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” Behind-the-Scenes Cuts
Lee Dong Wook has returned to tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”.
On April 26th, King Kong by Starship released several behind-the-scenes photos of Lee Dong Wook’s poster shoot for his role as Lee Yeon in tvN’s drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”.
“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”, starring Lee Dong Wook as the lead, is a fantasy action historical drama about the nine-tailed fox Lee Yeon, who crash-landed in the chaotic era of 1938 and tries to return to the present.
Lee Dong Wook successfully led the drama’s first season released in 2020 and has reprised his role as Lee Yeon for the upcoming season.
In “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”, after becoming human, Lee Yeon, who had a happy ending with his eternal first love Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), is caught up in an unexpected event that summons him back to 1938.
In the photos released, Lee Dong Wook perfectly embodies the unique aura of Lee Yeon and adds to the excitement of fans who have been waiting for his return. His sharp gaze against the threatening beings, and his sculpture-like visuals amidst the vintage set have captured the attention of viewers.
Lee Dong Wook also shows off various expressions that suit his character in each situation. In the poster with his brother Lee Rang (Kim Bum), he makes a playful expression, and in the poster with the mountain spirits Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) and Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo), he exudes elegance. Lee Dong Wook has transformed into a character as diverse as Lee Yeon in the drama.
tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” will premiere on May 6th at 9:20 PM KST.
