In the July 11 episode of tvN’s special variety show Together, Shining God – Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip, the cast of the hit drama Goblin including Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo In-na enjoyed a reunion trip to Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
During the show, the cast revisited a memorable scene from Goblin in which Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) asks Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) about his ideal type.
Yoo In-na then turned the question to Lee Dong-wook, asking him to choose between three types of women: a traditional homemaker, someone sexy, or a professional woman. Without hesitation, Lee Dong-wook chose “a professional woman.”
Explaining his choice, Lee Dong-wook said, “I hope she has her own career. Someone who doesn’t lose momentum, I guess. I’d like her to be someone who has something she’s passionate about.”
Yoo In-na then posed a hypothetical question: “If you had to choose between a woman who has a job but doesn’t make much money, and a woman who’s wealthy but doesn’t have a job?” Lee Dong-wook immediately replied, “I’d be fine if she didn’t have money.”
Yoo In-na playfully continued, saying, “What if she keeps spending your money?” Lee Dong-wook calmly responded, “That’s okay. I have enough.” His relaxed and confident answer drew admiration and laughter from the cast.
The actor’s candid comments added another memorable moment to the Goblin 10th Anniversary reunion, delighting longtime fans of the beloved fantasy drama.
