Lee Dohyun Goes Viral with Military Band Performance Amid Success of “Exhuma”

On March 29th in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea’s largest cherry blossom festival, the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, was held. At this festival, a spectacular performance was staged with the participation of actor Lee Dohyun and the Air Force Band.
Previously, Lee Dohyun’s military band life had been revealed, stirring up public interest. In a video released on the official YouTube channel of the Republic of Korea Air Force, Lee Dohyun showcased an energetic performance, drawing hearts over his head and leading applause.
The performance prepared by Lee Dohyun and the Air Force Band went viral online. Lee Dohyun presented a dazzling performance singing and dancing to Psy’s ‘That That’ with his colleagues.
Particularly, he actively emphasized Lee Dohyun’s status as a ‘ten million actor’ following his success with the movie ‘Exhuma’. Before his performance, he introduced himself saying, “I am the ten million actor, Lee Dohyun.”
Netizens, wowed by Lee Dohyun’s idol-like visuals despite wearing military uniform and short hair, showered him with praise.
Lee Dohyun began his military service in the Air Force Band in August 2023. Debuting in 2018 with the drama ‘Prison Playbook’, Lee Dohyun solidified his position as a leading actor by starring in dramas such as ’18 Again’, ‘Sweet Home’, ‘Youth of May’, ‘The Glory’, and ‘The Good Bad Mother’.
The movie ‘Exhuma’, released during his military service, surpassed 10 million viewers in just 32 days. Lee Dohyun became a ten million actor with his debut film and made a remarkable mark on his filmography.
