Lee Do Hyun to make his movie debut in “Pamyo” alongside veteran actor Choi Min Sik 

As reported by SPOTV News on August 12, Lee Do Hyun has been cast in the upcoming thriller film “Pamyo” (literal title). He is set to play a funeral director.

“Pamyo” tells a strange story that occurs to a feng shui, a funeral director, and a shaman who are paid to relocate a tomb. “Pamyo” will be directed by director Jang Jae Hyun, who is known for his work in mystery thriller films such as “The Priests” and “Svaha: The Sixth Finger.”

Aside from Lee Do Hyun, veteran actor Choi Min Sik has been selected for the lead role of “Pamyo”. Actress Kim Go Eun is positively reviewing the offer to play the shaman.

Lee Do Hyun made his acting debut in 2017 with the drama “Prison Playbook” and shot to fame after playing Go Chung Myung in “Hotel Del Luna”. He then landed lead roles in dramas such as “18 Again”, “Youth Of May”, “Melancholia”, attracting keen attention for his acting skills.

In 2023, he is returning to the small screen in Kim Eun Sook’s new series “The Glory” alongside Song Hye Kyo. Along with “The Glory”, anticipations are also high for Lee Do Hyun’s big screen debut with “Pamyo”. 

Featuring a trustworthy cast including Choi Min Sik, Kim Go Eun, and Lee Do Hyun, “Pamyo” is expected to be a successful film that garners great attention. “Pamyo” is scheduled to start filming in the second half of this year.
