Lee Chaeyeon “I didn’t want to participate in ‘Produce 48 since I had already failed twice”

Lee Chaeyeon and Kim Sejeong mentioned audition programs.

Lee Chaeyeon and Kim Sejeong appeared in the “Special Live” corner of SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show”, which aired on the afternoon of Sep 12th.

DJ Kim Tae Gyun mentioned Lee Chaeyeon’s new song, “Lee Chaeyeon is back with a new song following ‘Knock’, which was well-received.” Lee Chaeyeon explained her new song “Let’s Dance”, “‘Knock’ has a hand-oriented choreography, while this song contains shuffle dance that uses feet.” Kim Tae Gyun caused laughter by saying, “I really like shuffle dance, too. I can’t dance for long because I have a big head.”

Afterwards, Lee Chaeyeon performed “Let’s Dance” live, showing off her brilliant dancing skills.

Lee Chaeyeon then mentioned survival programs with Kim Sejeong. Lee Chaeyeon said, “I didn’t want to participate (in ‘Produce 48) since I had already failed twice. But I thought it’s an opportunity and joined the show.” Kim Sejeong confessed, “Actually, I didn’t want to participate (in ‘Produce 101’) because I thought my debut was confirmed. Thanks to the show, it went well for me. I’m grateful.“
