Actor Lee Byung-hun positive test result has been confirmed. The filming of writer Noh Hee-kyung’s new work has been suspended due to this.
In a telephone conversation with Dispatch on Feb 9th, a BH Entertainment representative said, “Lee Byung-hun recently conducted a PCR test which was confirmed to be positive on Feb 7th,” they said.
Lee Byung-hun has finished getting the booster shot before getting infected. The representative said, “He is currently in self-quarantine,” and explained, “We will actively follow the quarantine guidelines of the authorities.”
The filming of tvN’s new drama “Our Blues,” in which he starred, has also been suspended. The production team told Dispatch that day, “We immediately stopped filming after hearing the news of Lee Byung-hun’s positive test result.”
Fortunately, there are no additional confirmed cases. All staff members and cast members were tested negative. They emphasized, “We will also take safety into account in the future.”
“Our Blues” is a new drama presented by writer Noh Hee-kyung and director Kim Kyu-tae. These two names guarantee the series’ quality as they have worked together before in “Worlds Within,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” and “Live.”
