Lee Byung Hun “I fainted for a second after being slapped by Kim Sun Young” (Concrete Utopia)

Lee Byung Hun revealed the behind-the-scenes story of “fainting for a moment” after being slapped by Kim Sun Young.

Through the press conference of the movie “Concrete Utopia” (directed by Um Tae Hwa) held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on June 21st, Lee Byung Hun raised expectations by hinting that there was a scene where he was slapped by Kim Sun Young.

Kim Sun Young said, “I felt great energy while acting with Lee Byung Hun.”

Lee Byung Hun then confessed, “I also felt energy. There was a scene where I was slapped by Kim Sun Young, and it was the first time I’d been slapped in my 30 years of acting. It was stronger than a kick.“

He raised expectations for this scene, “I fainted for about a second. I thought this was what it was like to faint for a moment. I endured it firmly. My expression didn’t change as I probably went out of my mind.“

He caused laughter by adding, “I thought the director would say ‘Okay’ right away because it was so real, but the director said, ‘It was an angle where you didn’t have to be hit.’“

Meanwhile, the movie “Concrete Utopia”, which will be released in August, tells the story of earthquake survivors in “Imperial Palace Apartment” in Seoul.
