On September 19, Lee Min-jung posted a photo on social media showing her 21-month-old daughter wearing a yellow hat and carrying a teddy bear-shaped backpack. The tiny accessory, perfectly matching her petite frame, highlighted her cuteness and melted the hearts of fans.
The update came while Lee Min-jung’s husband, actor Lee Byung-hun, is attending the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF 2025). The timing of Seo-yi’s appearance, seemingly on her way to see her father, made the post even more touching.
Lee Byung-hun had recently shared his emotional experience of sending Seo-yi to preschool for the first time. Speaking on Lee Min-jung’s YouTube channel MJ, he confessed: “A few days ago, when I handed her over to the shuttle bus teacher, she cried so hard. I wanted to take her back, but I had no choice but to let her go. That was the hardest moment for me.”
Lee Min-jung and Lee Byung-hun married in 2013 and welcomed their first child, a son named Joon-hoo, in 2015. In December 2023, the couple became parents again with the birth of their daughter Seo-yi, often affectionately called the family’s “precious late gift.”
