2 years after leaving entertainment shows to focus on acting, Hyeri delivers surprising news today 

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri surprises with her latest update. 

According to a report by the Munhwa Ilbo on November 9th, two and a half years after leaving “Amazing Saturday” in November 2020, Hyeri is set to return to an entertainment program by once again joining hands with PD Lee Tae Kyung, who directed tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”. This is a new variety show on tvN, which is scheduled to be launched early next year.

Hyeri expressed her intention to focus on her acting career when she got off “Amazing Saturday”. After leaving the program, she posted on her Instagram, “Amazing Saturday has given me the courage to slowly have confidence in myself for two and a half years. The show taught me that when I am my best self, I will be the person who gets to live the most. And also I was lucky to be able to work with very nice people.” 

Hyeri, who boasted her charm as a celebrity in various entertainment shows, is already making everyone look forward to what kind of character she will show in her upcoming program.

Currently, Hyeri is appearing in MBC’s drama “May I Help You”, in which she plays funeral director Baek Dong Joo, who can communicate with the dead.

Meanwhile, PD Lee Tae Kyung, who recently resigned from tvN, moved to Theo, a production company founded by PD Kim Tae Ho. Theo is reportedly preparing for the new project with Hyeri.
