LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon Collaborates with Tori Kelly?
Kim Chaewon of girl group LE SSERAFIM will feature in an upcoming song of American singer-songwriter Tori Kelly.
It is reported that LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon participated in the featuring of the song “Spruce”, which is included in the upcoming album of American singer-songwriter Tori Kelly, to be released on April 5 (local time)
Regarding her first solo collaboration since debut, Kim Chaewon expressed her gratitude and honor, saying, “I felt incredibly excited from the moment I heard the song, and I remember waiting for the recording day because I wanted to sing this song as soon as possible”.
Meanwhile, Tori Kelly also mentioned her collaboration with Kim Chaewon in an interview with the UK music magazine NME, attracting attention. In particular, she praised Kim Chaewon’s participation in “Spruce”, saying, “LE SSERAFIM is this amazing girl group I have been following and Kim Chae-won was happy to hop on the song ‘Spruce’ and killed it. We haven’t actually met yet, so we worked on the song remotely. I sent the song to her and then she sent back her verse, which was amazing. [I had] no notes.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is set to perform at the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, on April 13th and 20th. With this, LE SSERAFIM will become an artist who performs alone at the festival in the shortest period since debut among Korean singers.
