Kim Chae-won confessed that HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-hyuk contacted her after he saw her meme
On October 7th, a video titled “Be my comrade. LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “LeoJ Makeup”.
Kim Chae-won appeared in the video to get makeup done by YouTuber LeoJ.
Recently, Kim Chae-won recently made headlines with the meme created when she stuttered, saying “Fearnot, be my com…com…com” instead of “Fearnot (LE SSERAFIM’s fandom name), be my comrade”, at the Seoul concert of LE SSERAFIM’s world tour.
LeoJ revealed he received many comments mentioning the meme when asking for fans’ questions to film the content. Kim Chae-won said, “Every person I met said to me, ‘I loved our ‘com, com, com’ performance!’.”
She continued, “To be honest, I didn’t know I stuttered that badly”, adding “I don’t know if it’s okay to say this but even Chairman Bang Si-hyuk contacted me and said, ‘Thank you for the huge LOL moment, Ms. Com com com’. That message actually made me feel proud of myself”
Kim Chae-won shared, “It was unexpected but since it drew lots of attention, I’m rather happy about it”, exuding her positive energy.
