LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eun Chae will be the new fixed female MC of KBS’s Music Bank.
As reported by Xports News on December 3rd, LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eun Chae has been selected as the new MC of KBS 2TV’s weekly music show “Music Bank”. She will be MCing alongside rookie actor Lee Chae Min.
Previously, on January 13th, IVE’s Jang Won Young got off from “Music Bank” for the reason of concentrating on her main job as an idol. Since then, female idols such as NewJeans’ Minji and Oh My Girl’s Mimi have been filling in as special MCs.
Meanwhile, Hong Eun Chae made her debut in May of last year in LE SSERAFIM. Within 8 days of her debut, LE SSERAFIM won No. 1 on music shows. The group also won rookie awards at major music awards ceremonies such as the 2022 MAMA Awards, the 32nd Seoul Music Award and the 37th Golden Disc Awards. They swept a total of 5 Best New Artist Awards.
KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” is broadcast every Friday at 5:05 pm KST.
