Rookie girl group LE SSERAFIM is preparing for their comeback with a 5-member lineup
On September 1st, Source Music, the agency of LE SSERAFIM, confirmed that the girl group is preparing for a comeback and that the detailed schedule will be announced later.
However, on August 31st, a spoiler photo related to LE SSERAFIM’s new album already started to spread on Twitter. In the published photo, the names of LE SSERAFIM members Kazuha and Hong Eunchae were written on a piece of paper that’s loaded in a truck.
The Twitter user who released the photo said: “I saw the truck which contains LE SSERAFIM’s album while on the road. To be honest, it was funny that they wrote Kazuha like Hong Eunchae like this.”
The photo, which revealed the title of LE SSERAFIM’s 2nd mini-album as “Ruby”, quickly went viral across various online communities. Soon after, a media site reported that LE SSERAFIM is set to release a new album in fall.
Amid rising rumors, LE SSERAFIM’s agency made an official statement, and confirmed that the girl group is preparing for their 1st comeback with a 5-member lineup.
As this matches the aforementioned “spoiler truck” perfectly, netizens are showing enthusiastic reactions and writing comments like: “The truck spoiler was right”, “I’m looking forward to their 1st comeback as a 5-member group”, and “I’m curious about what the concept may be”.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM, who received attention as the first girl group to debut under HYBE Labels,released their first mini-album “FEARLESS” on May 2 and made their splendid debut in the music industry.
Immediately after debut, former member Kim Garam was caught up in a “school violence controversy” and made headlines. However, in the end, she could not solve the issue and withdrew from LE SSERAFIM.
Although there was a member departure, LE SSERAFIM continued to be popular, entering the US Billboard chart for 17 weeks in a row and maintained at the top of various other music charts, proving their popularity.
