Fans of LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon are showing frustration at Source Music for “mistreatment”
Recently, LE SSERAFIM performed for over 10 minutes at the Music Bank Global Festival, the year-end music festival of KBS. However, throughout this set, Chaewon only got a 4-second solo highlight, an extremely short center part, and spent most of the dance break at the back or the outermost side of the group.
As a result, fans of Chaewon have been showing their frustrations, citing Chaewon’s words a few days prior, where the female idol shares that she wants to show fans more sides of herself, from dancing to singing, and that she wishes for more opportunities to show them.
According to fans, Chaewon also barely had any noticeable part during LE SSERAFIM’s performance at the 2023 MAMA, and her line and screentime during the “UNFORGIVEN” era has declined remarkably. Additionally, there have been cases where the company did not announce Chaewon’s absent in schedules, and Chaewon herself had to inform and apologize to fans on Weverse.
Basically, Chaewon’s lack of spotlight at the Music Bank Global Festival has become the straw that broke the camel’s back for her fans, who have been showing frustrations on various SNS platform, and even started to question LE SSERAFIM’s choreographer, causing them to limit their Instagram comments.
It is known that LE SSERAFIM is set to perform at several other events like the AAA and GDA awards, alongside the SBS Gayo Daejeon. Hopefully, Chaewon will be able to have a decent focus in these future performances.
