LE SSERAFIM will sing the theme song for the upcoming Japanese TV drama ‘Sexy Tanaka-san’
The Japanese drama ‘Sexy Tanaka-san’ is scheduled to premiere at 10:30 PM KST on October 22. This drama airs during prime time (7 PM to 11 PM), so LE SSERAFIM being selected to sing its OST has affirmed their popularity in Japan.
LE SSERAFIM shared, “‘Dresscode (Prod.imase)’ is a song that gives courage to those who want to change. It’s a perfect match for the romantic comedy genre. We hope you enjoy the drama while paying attention to the lyrics and melody.“
‘Dresscode (Prod. imase)’ is also receiving attention as the second collaboration between LE SSERAFIM and imase. Imase, the singer-songwriter known for creating the ‘NIGHT DANCER,’ which sparked the dance challenge trend, was responsible for the lyrics, composition, and production of ‘Jewelry (Prod. imase),’ a track from LE SSERAFIM’s Japanese single album released last August.
Their first collaboration topped the charts on major Japanese music platforms, so ‘Dresscode (Prod. imase)’ is expected to receive a positive response.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM continues to enjoy long-term success with their first full album ‘UNFORGIVEN,’ having consecutively charted on Billboard charts for 23 weeks. According to the latest chart released on October 10 (local time), ‘UNFORGIVEN’ ranked 15th on the ‘World Albums’ chart.
