LE SSERAFIM Sakura “There were many moments when I was troubled and shed tears”

LE SSERAFIM Miyawaki Sakura (former IZ*ONE member) expressed her feelings about wrapping up promotional activities of “ANTIFRAGILE”.

On Nov 23rd, Sakura said through the fan communication platform Weverse, “I’ve been busy lately, I haven’t been able to say thank you yet after promotional activities, so I’m posting it now. Once again, thank you for your support for ANTIFRAGILE’s activities.”

Sakura confessed, “It was time to think about my performance once again during the long production period. It was very difficult to break the common sense I had in me to express songs and dances of unfamiliar genres, and I personally think there were more moments when I was troubled and when I shed tears compared to ‘Fearless’.”

She continued, “As I put in so much effort, I was able to find a new side of myself and I was able to enjoy the space called ‘stage’ little by little. FEARNOT (LE SSERAFIM’s fandom name) often told me, ‘Sakura seems comfortable and happy these days, so we’re also happy.’ I feel the same way. If the old me sees the current me, she’ll be surprised. Of course, the current me is still lacking, but I’m amazed at how I’m gradually liking myself, so I’m rather pleased.”

Sakura shared, “Honestly, it was a hard time, but I’m able to stand on stage like this because of that time. It’s a bit scary thinking that ‘I’ll choose the hard path rather than the easy path’ when a situation like this comes again, but that’s how I am. It wasn’t until I turned 24 that I realized what kind of person I am, what I like and what I hate.”

Sakura added, “We’re preparing for year-end stages. We’ll show you great performances, so please look forward to us. We’ll exceed that expectation. We’ll work hard today as well. Once again, thank you for your support and love.”
