Lady Gaga wore a BLACKPINK T-shirt, proving a continued friendship

Pop star Lady Gaga was seen wearing a BLACKPINK shirt in her recent SNS update, drawing attention.

On July 18th (local time), Lady Gaga celebrated the first anniversary of her 7th world tour, “The Chromatica Ball”, on her social media. 

In particular, the pop star published a photo of herself wearing a BLACKPINK T-shirt and added the caption, “I’m truly celebrating one whole year since we launched The Chromatica Ball. I’m so blessed to have family and friends that support me, amazing artistic collaborators, and fans all over the world who showed up to witness our show LIVE or cheer us on from home. There’s nothing like live performance. Singing, dancing, playing piano, wearing costumes that are high fashion and directing the show is a true joy for me. And there’s nothing quite like being on stage when the audience is finally in the stadium. That’s when the show becomes complete. Not until then. Sending love and peace too

On the other hand, BLACKPINK formed a relationship with Lady Gaga when they participated in the promotional single “Sour Candy” for Lady Gaga’s 2020 album “Chromatica”. 

Regarding this collaboration, Lady Gaga said in an interview that she personally reached out to BLACKPINK, and that she had an exciting and wonderful experience working with the girl group. 

The pop star also added, “BLACKPINK are beautiful, young women, and they’re very talented. Through this collaboration, I felt proud as if I’d become BLACKPINK’s fifth member.”

Likewise, BLACKPINK shared that they are honored and happy to work with Lady Gaga, who they admire, Lady Gaga.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga’s world tour “The Chromatica Ball” took place on three continents, including North America, Europe, and Asia. It started on July 17th and ended on September 17th of 2022, recording a box office revenue of 112.4 million USD.
