Kwon Da-mi continued to cheer on her younger brother G-Dragon, who recently suffered false drug accusations
On December 19th, Kwon Da-mi shared the title of a post about the police closing G-Dragon’s drug investigation on her SNS account with the caption, “You’ll probably do better next year, won’t you? Fighting♥”.
Kwon Da-mi has been a strong supporter of G-Dragon ever since the drug suspicions broke out. Earlier, when speculations of G-Dragon shaving his body hair before his voluntary police investigation to destroy evidence spread on SNS, Kwon Da-mi expressed her anger, saying “I’m really trying to hold it in XX. Seriously, that’s enough, XXXX. You are writing a whole novel”. She also attached a part of G-Dragon’s song “Gossip Man” to criticize rumors spreaders.
Not only that, Kwon Da-mi also encouraged fans to post supportive messages for G-Dragon. Her husband, actor Kim Min-joon, also left messages of support for his brother-in-law G-Dragon and insisted on the male singer’s innocence.
Later, G-Dragon’s nail drug test came out with a negative result, Kwon Da-mi posted, “I have many things to say but I’ll shut my mouth”.
Recently, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit decided to not send G-Dragon’s case to prosecution as they couldn’t secure any statements to prove the drug allegations. As the police closed the case, G-Dragon has also been cleared of charges. However, what’s left are the wounds caused by malicious speculations and rumors that G-Dragon and his family are enduring. That’s why Kwon Da-mi still expressed sincere support towards her younger brother even when the case is over.
