On the January 7 broadcast of MBC’s Radio Star, Kwanghee appeared as a guest alongside Kim Dong Hyun and others, where he shared updates on his recent lifestyle changes. Known for his slim physique in the past, Kwanghee revealed that he has been undergoing intense personal training sessions to improve his health and build muscle.
He humorously noted that he attends personal training up to five times a week and joked that after a 40-minute workout, he spends nearly two hours taking selfies under studio lighting. He also surprised viewers by appearing on the show without his usual shoulder padding for the first time, signaling confidence in his physical progress.
Kwanghee then made a shocking on-air pledge, saying that once he achieves his desired physique, he will return to Radio Star and reveal his body on camera. “I’ll come back this year and take my shirt off on the show. I’ll even wear palm-sized underwear,” he said, prompting laughter and disbelief from the hosts.

Beyond the fitness talk, Kwanghee has recently been dubbed a “prophet” by netizens after old comments he made resurfaced online. In 2019, during an appearance on a tvN program, Kwanghee once warned comedian Park Na Rae, saying, “Do you think ‘I Live Alone’ will protect you forever? Get yourself together.” At the time, the comment was brushed off as a joke.
However, with Park Na Rae later becoming embroiled in multiple controversies years afterward, the remark has been reinterpreted by online users as eerily prescient. Similar attention has been paid to Kwanghee’s past comments about other celebrities who later faced scandals, fueling his unexpected reputation as an “entertainment industry forecaster.”
As Kwanghee continues to make waves with his candid humor and fearless remarks, viewers remain curious whether his promised body reveal will become reality and whether his “predictions” will continue to come true.
