Kpop trainees revealed how to sneak boyfriend into dorm room

In fact, trainees and idols still regularly date and find a lot of creative ways to bypass the management companies

According to many idols, most companies strictly manage the trainees.  Before their debut, trainees had to focus on practicing.  Therefore, the dating of trainees is tightly controlled by the company.  However, there are still many trainees who find ways to break the rules.

In a YouTube video, Coco (former CocoSori member) and Gina Maeng – IU’s best friend shared many secrets regarding trainees’ dating.

Coco admits: “I actually secretly dated, so I know this will definitely happen”.  She even revealed how the trainees sneaked their boyfriends into the dorms, causing a shock to netizens.

With 12 years of experience as a trainee, Gina Maeng confirmed it was quite common and far simpler to do than you’d expect. “It is not difficult at all,” she added.  Coco only shared that having her own room made it easy to sneak in her boyfriend. However, she did spill details on how she and her members would “sneak out all the time.”

Because the front doors for dorms typically make a chiming sound whenever someone enters or leaves, they used a blowdryer to hide the sound whenever someone snuck out.

So one of the tricks that we would do is we would take turns sneaking out. When we finished showering, we would use the hairdryer. Someone would stand right in front of the manager’s room and hair dry to make noise.

In addition to its common use, the hairdryer also seems to be the “secret weapon” to break the rule.  Funnily enough, Dowoo (former A-JAX member) also admitted that he and his girlfriend (now wife) would “keep the hairdryer on” to make noise as well. It looks like a blowdryer is not only an essential item for hairstyling but for a bit of freedom too. In addition, the male idol also secretly put his lover in the suitcase and pushed it into the room.
